LOL! so you wish you were in a video that is high fashion in a trailer park with odd neon colors and no Andre 3000? Im bout it! Except for the no Andre 3000 part. I really like him, but thats a comment for another time. I digress: I like a trailer park video as much as the next person...but i thought this was out of place. I can appreciate someone always trying to push the boundary of how a song can translate to motion, but in this case the motions are weird. This is a video solange would do and I would rock wit it because her personality is a little to the left. Beyonce is not. Or at least not as much as her music lends itself to be. She has the unique ability to be mass produced while still being original. One could argue this is original, but for me the "different" doesnt work for me. Whereas with someone else, it wouldve translated better. Maybe Im hating because i was expecting something different from her and this was soo not it. Especially not for a song dripping with swagoo. I feel like this video couldve been the grown up part 2 video to get me bodied. As usual this has gone on long enough and there are grammatical errors every where and not a paragraph in sight, but thats how I gets down. BUT now that I know how easy this is (commenting), Im all up and thru this *expletive* (Get it?) LOL!
@Dace: Yes, I do wish that I was in a high-fashion, neon colored, trailer park party with Beyonce. However, I must agree that Andre 3000 would have upgraded the whole scene. I don't think that it would make much sense for this video to be anything like "Get Me Bodied" because the song isn't. It would have been hot if Kanye could have made an appearance tho lol.
Either way, we can agree to disagree and still share a brain. Your comments are about to make my blog poppin! lol
